Chevy Colorado ZR2 Honored with Must Test Drive Award

White and Black Chevy Colorado ZR2 pickup outdoors

If you’re looking to hit the tough terrain and set out on those off-road adventures you’ve been dreaming of, you should take a look at the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Equipped with numerous off-roading capabilities and a comfortable interior cabin, this mid-size pickup is earning a reputation for packing a lot of desirable features and technology into its sleek and rugged exterior. In fact, it was named Cars.com’s Best Pickup Truck of 2018 in January and was just named a 2018 Autotrader Must Test Drive Award winner this March.

The 2018 Autotrader Must Test Drive Awards considered a variety of vehicles and named twelve winners. The Colorado ZR2 was the only pickup truck chosen, after Autotrader’s auto experts reviewed its “interior comfort and materials, available technology features and ride quality.” Autotrader gave high praise to the ZR2, stating that the “ZR2 is a true off-road machine, rugged, and ready for almost anything you can throw at it.”

The ZR2 not only performs well on rough, off-road terrains, but also is a great vehicle on paved roads, giving you exceptional handling, control, and ride quality. The pickup seamlessly combines its mid-size build with state-of-the-art off-road capabilities, giving drivers both agility and intelligent control technology. It offers higher suspension than the standard Colorado, wider tracks, functional rocker protection, and more.

Redesigned Chevrolet Traverse Gets Big Updates

For the 2018 model year, Chevrolet’s largest SUV, the Traverse is getting some work done. The redesigned Chevrolet Traverse will be bigger and better than ever. In fact, it will be two inches longer than the outgoing model.

With a larger exterior, the Traverse gains passenger space, too. Chevy said second and third-row passengers will enjoy more headroom and legroom than before. And, even with more passenger space, the Traverse will still boast an impressive 23 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row and up to 99 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.

Another strong feature in the new Traverse will be its technology. Buyers will be able to choose from a wide range of available features, including a 4.2-inch color Driver Information Center, OnStar with 4G LTE Wi-Fi, up to seven USB ports, Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging station for smartphones.

Buyers will have the choice of multiple engines, including a strong V6 and turbocharged four-cylinder. There will also be a new trim available, a sporty RS model with a differently-tuned suspension and unique trim.

The all-new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will make its arrival here at LaSorsa Chevrolet Buick by the end of the year.
