Chevrolet Shows Off Life Size Lego Silverado

2019 Chevy Silverado Built out of Legos

To celebrate the release of the The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part, a team of LEGO® Master Builders created a life size, red LEGO® Silverado. This special build continues the partnership that Chevrolet started with Warner Bros. Pictures in 2017 with The LEGO® Batman Movie.

The truck got its big debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit early this year. It is the first full-size Chevrolet vehicle to be made entirely out of LEGO® bricks.

“Chevrolet is once again thrilled to be working with Warner Bros. to integrate the brand and one of our most iconic products – Silverado – into The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Truck marketing.

It took a team of 18 Master Builders and over 2,000 hours to create the LEGO® Silverado all by hand. They ultimately used 334,544 pieces. The full-size replica even includes unique graphic details and working lights. In total, the LEGO® Silverado weighs in at 3,307 pounds and is 72 inches high, 240 inches long, and 96 inches wide.

If you are your kids see the movie, be on the lookout for a mini-build of the Silverado High Country. Then, watch as your favorite LEGO® Movie heroes work together to save the world from the LEGO® DUPLO® destroyers.

Here at LaSorsa Chevrolet Buick, we are excited to see what Chevrolet and LEGO® work on next!
