The 2017 Detroit Auto Show has come and gone but it’s still the talk of many automotive enthusiast circles. One automaker in particular stole the show when it comes to kids and adults alike.
Chevrolet’s Lego Batmobile, designed by Lego master builders in Connecticut, took more than 344,000 bricks and 1,800 hours to put together. The model is available in a dozen different shades of black, according to Chevrolet.
Chevrolet’s Lego Batmobile is the real deal with a starting price sitting comfortably at $48 million. The model also boasts a maximum towing capacity of 120,000 pounds when properly equipped. It also churns out 20,000 hp, according to the automaker’s official page. The car weighs in at less than 1,700 pounds for maximum agility and handling while chasing down Joker in the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie.
The Lego model also boasts several of Chevrolet’s top technologies, including smartphone integration software like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also boasts a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with connectivity for up to seven devices. This gives Robin plenty of distractions until it’s time to spring into action.
We here at LaSorsa Chevrolet are pumped to see the all-new Chevrolet Lego Batmobile in theaters on February 10th!
